When Nick Von K visited the Uffizi gallery in Florence, he enjoyed many of Boticelli's famous paintings such as The Birth of Venus and Primavera. What really struck him was the way Boticelli painted female faces so beautifully in a perfectly soft golden light, and it really reminded him of the beautiful golden lustre of pearls.
